Sick silkworms?

The silkworms look good upon delivery, but they started to die one by one. They all died until yesterday. Before they died, they're all extending their body and trying to approach the sky. They finally died with black belly and rot right after. I'm wondering if they got fungi infections. I fed them with fresh mulberry leaves (washed and air dried). They like to eat at first, but not about two days later. Thanks for shipping three extra silkworms.

Good morning, Juanni Liu. Thank you for your review. So sorry you had some bad luck with growing your silkworms ... Silkworms are very delicate creatures and actually have been mostly extinct in nature for over 200 years. Most silkworms are grown in captivity and require careful attention daily to make it to maturity and cocoon. Some of our customers have had some success while most do not do so well in attempting to grow silkworms through the entire life cycle. i am so sorry your experiment was not the success you had hoped for. kindest regards, Peter Brenner
